A Water Garden Can Be Your Oasis
A water garden doesn’t have to be huge to be an oasis for you. It can be as simple as an outdoor fountain with a few plants around it and somewhere to sit, to relax and meditate. It can be as fancy as you want it to be, or can afford, with a pond and Koi in it, surrounded by fragrant plants, and a large waterfall. It isn’t important how big or how small it is, what is important is that it provides you with an outlet from the stresses of every day life.
The sound of water bubbling down a fountain has always been relaxing. It allows you to take your mind off your busy day, and if you close your eyes for a few moments, you can start to imagine a babbling brook, or a soothing waterfall. There are many benefits to a water garden. It is an oasis to get away to, if only for a short period of time. The stress melts away, you can relax and unwind, and it can provide a lot of peace and harmony. In today’s high stress world, where there are so many worries at work, as well as at home, everyone needs to take a little time out, otherwise you are going to end up depressed, and even sick.
A water garden can also have a good effect on the area surrounding it. It brings up the humidity level, cools down the air and environment on a hot day, and the temperature around a garden fountain can be significantly lower than the rest of the back yard. It can attract birds, butterflies and other creatures that are also looking for a break. A water garden can be an oasis for everyone.
