Just Moved to Sherman,TX?
Welcome! You’re going to love it here! We’ve got lots of information here on the site to help you get oriented. First things first, you’ll need to focus on the basics….returning the Uhaul, getting city utilities turned on, selecting a phone and internet company and finding your way around town. Sherman is still a relatively small town and so you can set up most things and find lots of information at the City’s Municipal Building. We’ve got more information for you under our City Utilities section. There are many choices as far as electric, gas, telephone and internet providers so peruse your way over to those sections and you’ll find lots of great information.
There’s lots of stuff to get involved in here in Sherman as well, from Church groups, to business organizations, and lots of opportunities to volunteer in local charities and not-for-profit organizations as well. The Parks and Rec Department for the City is great and there are a lot of wonderful programs to get involved in there. We’re glad you’re here!
